Primero mira Serving Size.

«Natural» no significa automáticamente seguro.

Responsible shopping guide

How to read a supplement label.

The front helps you identify the product; the complete label confirms what it contains, how much a serving provides, and who is responsible for it.

Important: this guide helps you interpret information. It does not recommend a supplement or replace advice from a health professional.

Before you decide

Look for five facts, not one big promise.

A brand name is not enough to compare products. Review the complete, current package label.

1
Identity and net contentsWhat type of supplement it is and how many capsules, tablets, or measures it contains.
2
Serving sizeHow many units make one serving; it is not always one capsule.
3
Ingredients and amount per servingRead the stated form and the amount tied to the complete serving.
4
% Daily ValueHow much one serving contributes to the Daily Value when one has been established.
5
Other ingredients and precautionsReview excipients, declared allergens, directions, warnings, and contact information.
Supplement Facts

What each part means.

Serving Size

The basis for the panel

This is the amount used to calculate every value. If it says “2 capsules,” the amounts generally apply to those two capsules together.

Servings Per Container

Uses in the package

This helps you estimate how many uses the bottle contains based on the stated serving.

Amount Per Serving

Quantity for each ingredient

This connects each dietary ingredient to an amount. Check the unit: mcg, mg, g, or another measure.

% Daily Value

Contribution to a daily diet

This shows how much one serving contributes to the daily diet. Some ingredients do not have an established Daily Value.

Beyond the panel

The label is more than Supplement Facts.

Also look for the other-ingredients list and the name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor. Read the product-specific directions and warnings before use.

† Daily Value not established. Fictional example; it does not represent a NovaVida product.

Avoid a common mistake

Do not confuse “per capsule” with “per serving.”

Start with Serving Size. That number defines the basis for the amounts listed below it.
Then check the unit.Milligrams and micrograms are not equivalent; read the complete symbol.
Finally, compare current labels.A product name or front-facing photo does not replace the complete panel.
Claims and reality

What a front-label phrase does not prove.

“Natural” does not automatically mean safe.

Supplements can have strong effects and may interact with medicines, laboratory tests, or other products.

A supplement is not “FDA approved” before sale.

The FDA does not preapprove supplements for safety and effectiveness. Be cautious with cures, guaranteed outcomes, or quick fixes.

Before using or combining products.

Follow the current label and talk with a health professional if you take medication, have a health condition, or plan to combine supplements. If you experience an adverse reaction, stop using the product and seek medical care or advice.
